Kottayam (Kerala), April 27, 2015: Joshy Jacob and Lingaraj Azad were on Sunday, 26th April unanimously re-elected as the National President and National General Secretary respectively of the Samajwadi Janparishad (S.J.), the Socialist political party in India. The party also elected other members of its National Executive on the concluding day of its 10th biennial national conference, which held in Kottayam on April 25 and 26, 2015.

 The members of the National Executive for two-year term are Joshy Jacob (Kerala) - president, Lingaraj Azad (Odisha) - general secretary, Nisha Shivurkar (Maharashtra), Kamal Krishna Banerjee (West Bengal), Dr. Chandra Bhushan Chaudhari (Jharkhand), Aflatoon Desai (Uttar Pradesh), Ranjit Rai (West Bengal), Akhila Vidyasandra (Karnataka), Radhakanth bahidar (Odisha),Dr.Swaty (Uttar Pradesh), Ajay Khare (Madhya Pradesh),Dr.Mahesh Vikram Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Sarayu Prasad Singh (Bihar), Sathyen Prasad Rai (West Bengal), Rajendra Gadwal (Madhya Pradesh), Santharam Gosavi (Maharashtra), Suresh Narikkuni, (Kerala) and Ram Keval Chauhan (Uttar Pradesh).

Four important documents Political Economic and International Resolution, Resolution on Organization and Programme, Social Resolution, and the Kerala Resolution have been adopted unanimously.

The National Executive at its meeting held on April 26, 2015 at the conclusion of the biennial national conference co-opted Naval Kishore from Bihar as its member. Sachidananda Sinha, Chitta Dey, Chanchal Mukherjee and Anurag Modi are made permanent invitees to the National Executive.

The National Executive elected Kamal Krishna Bannerji, Nisha Shivurkar and Dr. Chandra Bhushan Chaudhari as National vice presidents, Radhakanth bahidar as treasurer, Aflatoon Desai as National organizing secretary and Ranjit Rai, Naval Kishore and Akhila Vidyasandra as National secretaries of the party.
