Veteran Socialist leader Ram Iqbal Warsi dead, cremated with state honours

He was 94. Warsi breathed his last at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) in Patna at around 3.30 AM, his son Shiv jee Singh told PTI. Warsi was not keeping well for the past several days and had been admitted to IGIMS in Patna. News of his death made leaders, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary, rush to the hospital.
